1. Buga - Kizz Daniel feat Tekno
Produced by Reward Beatz and co-produced by Blaise Beatz, Young Willis, and Micky Geetarist, Kizz Daniel's song 'Buga' has become the song of the moment with trends on Tiktok at 2.4m, and on social media as a challenge.
No doubt Kizz Daniel has a grand reputation for dishing spicy viral hits since he entered the music scene. The Afropop single is a follow-up on 'Barnabas' with 7 tracks having a guest appearance from the 'cavemen''.
'Buga' was recently rated the world’s top five Afrobeat trending globally. This report is according to Shazam, an app that identifies music, which has tagged the single as Most Shazamed Song in the world.
Kizz Daniel's masterpiece, Buga has also entered the lead song on Apple Music’s top 100 in Nigeria and top one among the top 100 on Apple in Kenya.
Speaking about his success, the woju crooner said ‘Buga’ is an indigenous word, which means “Show off”, and “stunt on them”. “So in this context, it means after you’ve put in the work, let your results speak loudly. Enjoy your success.
“Whatever you’re seeing out there, whatever results in the song is generating, that’s the result of hard work. And I’ve consistently put in my best in all my songs. Nothing good comes easy,” he said.
2. Sugarcane (remix) - Camidoh feat King Promise, Mayorkun, Darkoo
If you are a lover of good music then, this song by Camidoh is part of your playlist for the week. Sugarcane remix features great Ghanaian vocalists like King Promise alongside Darkoo and talented Nigerian singer Mayorkun.

3. Palazzo - DJ Spinall, Asake
Palazzo is another hit single from the stables of DJ Spinall featuring vocals from Nigerian singer and YBNL's, newly signed artiste, Asake. The mid-tempo song carries nuances of 'Omo Ope's' rhythm.

Grammy award-winning singer Burna boy seduced his fans with his new single Last Last of his anticipated album "Love Damini". It was originally performed live during his Madison Square Garden (One Night In Space) show.

6. Woman - Omahlay
A slow sensual rendition, of "Woman" by famous award-winning Nigerian singer, Omah Lay narrates the story of love between the singer and his lover. This is Omah Lay's first single this year after releasing his chart-topping Afrobeat song, Understand last year 2021.

8. Sungba - Asake (Remix) (feat. Burna Boy)
Call it the song of the quarter, “Sungba” is a single off Asake’s new project, following his signing to Olamide’s YBNL.

Talk about music that makes a comeback, the song was initially released in 2019 but gained prominence after it became a challenge on TikTok.
As of April, the song was among the trending songs on Apple Music in other African countries(‘Gentility’) holding the 33rd position on the Top 100 Ghana Apple Music Chart and 10th position on the Top 100 Gambia Apple Music Chart.
13. Kwaku the Traveller - Black Sherif
This song lives rent-free in our heads.
Kwaku The Traveller, produced by Joker Nharnah. Since its release, it has been on the front line of major music playlists across the various digital streaming platforms in the world.
Debuting at number 1 on Apple Music Top 100 Nigeria and Ghana respectively, the song has garnered over 75 million audio streams.

14. Baddest Boy Remix- Skiibii ft. Davido
Since Nigerian singer, Skiibii began the year with his Davido-assisted remix of “Baddest Boy,” he has received massive acceptance.
Described as the song of the party, TikTok played a big role in the virality of Skibii's music.
The released anthem ‘Baddest Boy’ recorded 5 million streams spending 4 weeks atop the Top 50, in February.
